Melissa A. Schultz is Tully Rinckey’s Director of Legal Administration, overseeing legal support staff in the firm’s Albany, White Plains, Manhattan, and Washington, D.C. offices. Melissa brings a wealth of legal administration experience and knowledge to Tully Rinckey, having worked in tandem with attorneys and executives alike at several law firms in New York.
Most recently, Melissa was an Assistant Project Manager for a general contractor during a multi-million-dollar conversion of a historic 15-story office building into residential apartments in Albany. Previously, she commenced consumer and commercial collection as well as replevin actions in her role as a paralegal. She worked directly with the Managing Partner through all stages of the litigation process both in pre-judgment and post judgment tasks. As a Collections Manager for a prior law firm, Melissa supervised and managed, in conjunction with the Managing Partner of the Collections and Replevin Departments, a team of Document Specialists. The Collections Department was a high-volume practice area with an average active case volume of 12,000 matters.
Melissa is a graduate of SUNY Schenectady County Community College, with an Associates of Applied Science degree in Paralegal Studies. She is also certified in OSHA’s 30-hour Construction Safety and Health program.
