Christina Couto

As the business development writer at Tully Rinckey America Service Corporation, Christina Couto is responsible for supporting the firm’s marketing efforts through writing and editing various articles, fliers, external emails, op-eds, press releases, letters, awards, RFPs and website content.

Before joining Tully Rinckey, Christina was the marketing and communications editor for the New York State Bar Association, where she oversaw writing, editing and production of the State Bar News, a legal publication for State Bar members. She also wrote substantive articles regarding current legal affairs and issues facing the legal profession, and handled press inquiries, connecting reporters and media outlets with legal experts, in addition to writing press releases regarding State Bar legislative initiatives and current events.

Christina also served as the communications manager for the New York Credit Union Association, where she authored articles and press releases and crafted social media campaigns aimed at financial professionals regarding the credit union industry and new and changing laws and regulations. She also advocated on behalf of the Association for the financial well-being of New Yorkers through communications regarding legislative initiatives to state and federal legislators.

Christina earned a bachelor of arts degree in communications, with an emphasis in journalism and political science, from Washington State University.
